Our Work in Action
At Blue Thread, we help Indigenous communities, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations bring their stories to life through clear, impactful communication.
Every project is a collaboration rooted in respect and strategy. Below are a few examples of how we’ve partnered with communities and organizations to amplify their voices and strengthen their impact.

Indigenous Community
Strategic Messaging
Challenge: A Native Nation needed consistent messaging to explain its fight for land restoration in a way everyone could understand.
Solution: Developed strategic messages rooted in culture and history, translating complex legal issues into everyday language.
Outcome: The Nation now shares a unified story that resonates with community members and the wider public, strengthening awareness and support for their cause.
Historical Society & Museum
Storytelling
Challenge: A historical society wanted to engage the public, but its materials didn’t capture the human stories behind the history.
Solution: Developed storytelling pieces that highlighted personal voices and connections, making history feel alive and relevant to today’s audiences.
Outcome: The society reached new audiences, increased community engagement, and strengthened support for preserving local heritage.

Advocacy Group
Campaign Support
Challenge: An advocacy group wanted to help domestic violence survivors access social services, but their outreach wasn’t being seen by the people who needed it most.
Solution: Developed a communications campaign using the right channels and survivor-centered storytelling to connect directly with those in need.
Outcome: More survivors were able to find and access services, and the organization built stronger visibility within the community.
